Ben Affleck is reportedly doing quite well since his divorce from Jennifer Lopez, as sources say the actor and director is “healthy, single, and enjoying life.”
Jennifer Lopez and Affleck got married in the summer of 2022 and filed for divorce in August 2023. The pair first dated in the early 2000s, leading to the creation of the nickname “Bennifer.”
Since their divorce, Ben Affleck has reportedly been “healthy, single, and enjoying life,” according to a source.
“Months after his ex Jennifer Lopez filed for divorce, Affleck, 52, is ‘healthy, single and enjoying life,’ a source exclusively tells PEOPLE.”
“Ben is spending the holiday with his children and is excited to have Violet home for break.”
Affleck has reportedly been “closer than ever” with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner in recent months, as well. Garner and Affleck were married from 2005 to 2018 and share three children together.
Despite the divorce, Affleck is still linked with Lopez in his professional life and his production company Artists Equity has produced both of Lopez’s next two films.
The first of the two, Unstoppable, is a biopic about one-legged NCAA champion wrestler Anthony Robles, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in September. Lopez has earned strong reviews for her performance as Robles’ mother.
Starring Lopez, Jharrel Jerome, Don Cheadle, Bobby Cannavale and Michael Pena, Unstoppable will begin streaming on Prime Video on January 16.
Artists Equity will also be producing an adaptation of the 1990s Broadway play Kiss of the Spider Woman, which Lopez is attached to star in alongside Diego Luna.
As for Affleck’s film career, he’ll next be seen starring in a sequel to his 2016 action thriller The Accountant, which is scheduled to be released in movie theaters on April 25, 2025.
In addition to Affleck in the lead role, Gavin O’Connor returns to direct, while Jon Bernthal, J. K. Simmons, and Cynthia Addai-Robinson will all be reprising their roles from the original.
