TRACEE Ellis Ross has revealed the real reason why she dates younger men.
Admitting that younger men are very “hot”, Tracee, 52, confessed the other reason why she does not tend to date men her age.

Tracee, who is the daughter of music sensation Diana Ross and Robert Ellis Silberstein, appeared on former First Lady Michelle Obama‘s podcast this week.
Michelle and her brother Craig host the podcast IMO with Michelle Obama & Craig Robinson.
Tracee’s episode, which came out on April 16, was titled: TRACEE ELLIS ROSS on Dating as a ‘Choiceful Woman’ and What It Means to Live a Full Life.
While appearing on the podcast, Tracee spoke about an array of topics, including her dating life and the grief she feels over being in her 50s and without children or a partner.
But Tracee, who seemingly will not settle, revealed some reasons why she will not date just anyone – as well as touching on her penchant for younger men.
Speaking to Michelle, she confessed: “Often I date younger men,” before revealing the real reason why.
Tracee spoke about knowing herself and being in charge of her life, touching on why men her age aren’t a good match for her most of the time.
Speaking about dating younger men, she said: “It’s not just age. It’s like life experience is sort of a difference.

“But I had to ask myself the question, why?
“Why does this keep sort of coming up other than there hot and gorgeous?
“There’s that,” she added, with Michelle also saying the same thing in agreement.
Tracee then went on to reveal the main reason she doesn’t tend to date men her age.
“A lot of men my age are steeped in a toxic masculinity and have been raised in a culture where there is a particular way that a relationship looks,” she said.
“And anything that starts to smell of that for me..
“I did enough of it where I was controlled and felt like I was a possession or whatever those things were, or prize.

“And I just, I have no interest in it and I will not do it again,” she confessed.
‘YOUNGER MEN ARE MORE OPEN’
Tracee later added how she has dated men her age and found younger men to have “an openness” in comparison.
“Whether it’s gender fluidity or, not even having an issue with homosexuality,” she noted.
Viewers were quick to rush to the comments section to share their thoughts on the honest episode.
One person said: “I love how she is NORMALIZING that it’s ok to desire love, a partner and kids but also ok to not settle and still have a beautiful life if that doesn’t happen for you.”
“Tracee is an amazing woman, coming from Diana Ross. I’m proud of her for continuing to inspire and be real about who she is too,” penned a second.
A third then said: “Tracee is my BFF in my head. Thank you Tracee for being transparent, and confirming my wholeness as a single woman is okay.“
While a fourth wrote: “There’s NOTHING lonelier than being with somebody who isn’t right for you.“
Tracee is the daughter of Diana Ross, who is a mom to five children.
As well as Tracee, Diana is mom to Rhonda, Chudney, Ross and Evan.
