Shahs of Sunset and The Traitors star Mercedes Javid is sticking with her exercise routine, and sharing her moves on social media. Javid, 52, shared a video of herself wearing black leggings and a green t-shirt, using dumbbells for an at-home workout. “BALANCE IS POWER ~ King Dante Tayway,” she captioned the post. “Looking younger and hotter now than season one of shahs. Get it!!👏👏” a fan commented. Javid is thriving in her 50s—here’s how she stays fit, healthy, and strong.
Healthy Diet

Javid and husband Tommy Feight cleaned up their diet during the pandemic lockdowns, cutting down on sugar. “The positive things about the pandemic for us has been a really healthy routine with food and exercise,” she told The Daily Dishpodcast. “We’ve cut… most, if not all, of the bad food out. He used to eat really poorly. Now he’s eating so clean.”
Walking Her Pups
Javid uses a hair detangler while she’s walking her dogs. “I’m going to share with you the top, most important things that elevate my spirit, and therefore I can contribute that way in a positive way to my household, my family, my son, and of course, our wellness,” she told Bravo TV. “When I walk my dogs and my babies and myself, my hair is protected and as you can see, it’s shinier, and it really, really keeps my hair together.”
Body Positivity
Javid has always been an advocate for body positivity. “I love the fact that I get to be that sort of hot mess, which I think everyone should be open and comfortable to be imperfect and to have cellulite,” she told Page Six. “It doesn’t bother me, the people who want to call me fat, because I’m going against the social norm. I love when I hear women say that I’ve given them more confidence about their body and that they’re wearing the clothes they want to.”
Spray Tan Sessions
Javid protects her skin from the sun and prefers spray tanning to enjoy a safer sun-kissed look. “I always use a spray booth, and I make sure that the spray tan is extra intense on the abs,” she told Bravo TV. “You can never be too tan there. It will just make you look more slender. That underside of the arm is an area that girls are always trying to tone, to get the muscular definition of Jennifer Aniston. If you can’t tone it, tan it. And always go a few shades darker. It’s never going to be: oh my God, the fat part of my arm is too dark. Never.”
Endorphin High
Javid loves the high she gets from working out. “I started taking different kinds of fitness classes. Whenever you start to exercise again, you get such a rush,” she told Page Six. “You get a natural high from the endorphins, or being inspired by some guy’s ass in the chair in front of you at Spin class.”
