Marvel newcomer Tenoch Huerta has responded to claims about his bulge following a viral tweet claiming that it was edited out of “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.”

The Mexican actor starred in the movie as Namor, King of the underwater nation Talokan. His character was one of the first batches of super-powered beings brought to life back in 1939 by writer-artist Bill Everett.

Speaking recently on the matter of his bulge, Huerta refuted speculations that his private parts were edited and revealed his plans to maintain his physique ahead of the possibility of being asked to reprise his role in future MCU films.

The actor previously stated that he desired to have a solo Namor movie but admitted that the chances of it happening depends mainly on Marvel showrunners and the success of “Wakanda Forever” in the cinemas.

Tenoch Huerta Reveals ‘The Real One’

In an interview with Rolling Stone, Huerta put to bed rumors Marvel had used CGI to edit away the bulge of his character.

This comes after two photos of the actor playing the role went viral – one with a clear view of what seems to be an enormous manhood, while the other was simply plain.

“The only thing that I can say is: the original was the photo [on] the right. Without [the bulge]!” the actor stated, clearing the air about the online speculations.

Doubling down on his comment, Huerta further remarked that he was not interested in claiming otherwise, as he had nothing to prove to anyone about his member.

“That’s original,” he added, while chuckling due to the risqué nature of the conversation. “No, I mean, I’m not going to lie to people. Every man in the world, we have fragile masculinity, but not in that issue. I will say, the right one, the real one is the photo on the right.”

Despite making it clear that Namor’s private parts were not tampered with, some fans have yet to agree with Huerta’s claim, leaving the controversy up for debate.

However, what’s for sure is that fans are slowly getting attached to the character, which seems to have increased Huerta’s hope to have a solo movie for the Sub-Mariner.

“I would like it, but I don’t know,” Huerta said, voicing his wishes about seeing Marvel greenlight a Namor project during an interview with Digital Spy.

The actor went on to say that the possibility of it happening primarily depends on the wishes of Marvel Studios President and Chief Creative Officer Kevin Feige.

He continued, “It [also] depends on the inbox. It depends on the people, and how many tickets they buy. So please: buy a lot of tickets.”

Huerta echoed his desire in his interview with Rolling Stone, once again stating that the decision was in the hands of Marvel Showrunners.

While he waits for a chance to reprise the role, the Mexican actor revealed his plans to maintain his current physique and not get lax on his training routines.

All these he plans to do so that he remains in perfect shape to play the feathered serpent god in both solo and cross-over films.

Huerta continued by stating that his trainer had previously advised him against overindulging in food now that he no longer has contractual obligations to keep fit.

He said, per Rolling Stone. “It’s something that my trainer told me. ‘Okay, man, now you can rest, you can chill, and take your time. But not too much, because if you have to play Namor one more time, you need to go through the same process all over again. So it’s better you take care of yourself and don’t get crazy with tacos.’”

Future MCU Projects

While Namor’s prospects are still uncertain, the debut of “Wakanda Forever” will set the pace for new spin-off stories in the MCU. In the film, Dominique Thorne played teenage inventor Riri Williams and will now reprise the role in her solo series, “Ironheart.”

Additionally, a Black Panther spin-off centered on Danai Gurira’s Okoye, the leader of the Dora Milaje, is also in the works but has yet to be fleshed out by the showrunners.

In the meantime, “Wakanda Forever” has been pulling huge box office numbers since its release. The film has grossed over $678 million worldwide, becoming the seventh-highest-grossing film of 2022. It made over $80 million on its first day and over 180 million during the opening weekend.
