Stand-up comedian Dave Sirus, a friend of Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson, has shared an alleged text message exchange between Davidson and rapper Kanye West, who has been publically harassing Davidson and his ex-wife Kim Kardashian in recent weeks.
The alleged text messages, which were published on Instagram by Sirus on Sunday, March 13, see Davidson asking the 44-year-old Donda rapper to “calm down” and “grow the fuck up.”
“Yo it’s Skete. Can you please take a second and calm down,” Davidson’s text message to Ye begins. “It’s 8 am and it don’t gotta be like this. Kim [Kardashian] is literally the best mother I’ve ever met. What she does for those kids is amazing and you are so fucking lucky that she’s your kids’ mom. I’ve decided I’m not gonna let you treat us this way anymore and I’m doing being quiet. Grow the fuck up.”
Kanye then asked where Davidson was, to which he replied “in bed with your wife” while also sharing a selfie. As the exchange continues, Davison tries to get Kanye to meet him in person so they can have a “man to man” conversation. West, however, seems uninterested and instead repeatedly invites the 28-year-old comedian to his “Sunday Service.”
Ever since Davidson began dating Kardashian, who is now officially divorced from Kanye after first filing back in February 2021, West has been dissing the Staten Island native and making threats to him in his music.
In the music video for “Eazy” — in which he raps “God saved me from that crash/ just so I can beat Pete Davidson’s ass” — a cartoon version of Davidson is kidnapped and buried by Kanye.
