Here Are the First-Week Sales Projections for Nas’ ‘King’s Disease III’

Nas is likely to score another top-10 record.

According to projections shared by HitsDailyDouble, the rapper’s King’s Disease III album is expected to debut at No. 9 on the Billboard 200, with approximately 30,000 units earned in its first week. For comparison, Nas’ previous project, Magic, debuted at No. 27 with 22,000 units, while 2021’s King’s Disease II took the No. 2 with 47,000 units.

KD3 marks the fourth consecutive Nas album to be executive produced by Hit-Boy. The project delivered 17 tracks (including a bonus cut) and had zero guest appearances. Hit-Boy addressed the decision to go featureless in an interview with Apple Music’s Rap Life Review.

“Honestly, it was once we got deeper into the album because I definitely was thinking and conceptualizing on who could be a part of it,” he told the hosts. “I even pulled up some features that I had in my computer from different artists and we tried stuff, but nothing really connected on a level of what we was doing solo. This is, I believe, Nas’ first album ever with no features so that’s an ill thing in itself.”


In other chart news, GloRilla’s Anyways, Life’s Great… EP is expected to debut at No. 10 with 29,000 units in its first week. The project The project included her hit single “F.N.F. (Let’s Go) featuring HitKidd, as well as the Cardi B-assisted “Tomorrow 2.”

Taylor Swift’s Midnight’s is on track to reclaim the No. 1 spot with an additional 198,000 units, while Drake and 21 Savage’s Her Loss project will take the No. 2 spot with 172,000 more units.
