A royal expert is opening up about the creation of Prince Harry‘s memoir.
The Duke of Sussex will release the long-awaited tome – titled “Spare” – on January 10. However, questions are already piling up about project as its release date looms.
Omid Scobie, a royal expert, offered some answers in a new report he penned for Yahoo! News.

According to Omid, the memoir’s “punchy” title was “a decision made by Prince Harry early on in the process.”
“It’s a punchy choice, but for a word that has trailed the prince like a shadow, being the spare was one of the most defining aspects of his royal existence,” he said. “Leaning on the derogatory moniker for a title is Harry finally owning the term after a lifetime of being called it.”
The expert added that “there were also no last-minute rewrites or edits after the Queen’s death” and alleged that Prince Harry does not spend any time “‘trashing’ his family” as some reports suggest he does.

Meghan also recently commented on an equally long-awaited docuseries about her and her husband.
