Extremely hot off the heels of the conclusion of his Lord of the Rings-themed Halloween celebration in Asheville, N.C., Billy Strings has unveiled the venues for his upcoming winter tour across the United States.
The virtuoso Grammy Award-winning bluegrass rock-and-roller will bring his fretboard fireworks to 15 arenas this winter, starting with a sold-out run at the 1st Bank Center in Broomfield, Colo. From there, he’ll head east for a three-night run at Atlantic City, N.J.’s Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena. Other newly confirmed runs include two nights at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn., the John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville, Va., Charleston, N.C.’s North Charleston Coliseum, Atlanta’s State Farm Arena, Winston-Salem, N.C.’s Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum and more.
It’s notable that following this two-night stay at the Bridgestone Arena, Strings will head to the iconic Ryman Auditorium for a third smaller-scale show in Nashville on Feb. 26, and his first evening at the Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum on March 3 will be in celebration of Doc Watson’s 100th birthday. The Winter tour will come to a close with a three-night run at The Andrew J Brady Music Center in Cincinnati on March 16-18.
Tickets for the winter dates will be available for presale on Nov. 2 at 10 a.m. local time, while general on-sale will commence Friday, Nov. 4 at 10 a.m. local. Registration for pre-sale tickets is open now. Find tickets and more details here.
