Punk and emo are back.

Well, they never really went away — the genres just took a little break from the spotlight.

Following the mega success of 2022’s When We Were Young Festival, the Adjacent Music Festival, taking place at the Atlantic City beach on May 27-28, 2023, is following in WWWY’s footsteps and bringing some of the biggest ’00s icons to the Garden State.

Just a few of those acts include Blink 182, Paramore, Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness, Turnstile, and Coheed and Cambria.

We’re just getting started too.

Jimmy Eat World, Jeff Rosenstock, Motion City Soundtrack, Wheatus and Phantom Planet are all set to perform at the Memorial Day weekend extravaganza as well.

Plus, N.J. natives The Front Bottoms will also rock out at the can’t-miss fest.

Based on star power alone, we believe it would be wise to secure tickets early to this unofficial Warped Tour revival.

At the time of publication, the lowest price we found on Vivid Seats for two-day general admission passes was $475 before fees.

All prices are subject to fluctuation.

In total, 41 acts will grace the Atlantic City beach’s stages over the two-day beachside show.

More modern acts on the bill include Bleachers, Japanese Breakfast, Idles, Beach Bunny, and The Linda Lindas.

The festival also booked rising comedian Neil Rubenstein who regularly opens for Motion City Soundtrack, to mix things up.

Other things to do in Atlantic City

While the festival is going strong, all the usual A.C. attractions will also be in full swing.

Personally, we recommend checking out the Atlantic City Boardwalk, Tropicana Atlantic City and the Ocean Casino Resort.
