London-based indie-pop artist Alex Amor releases a personal and bittersweet EP, The Art Of Letting Go.
Produced by: Karma Kid, Mack Jamieson, and Gianluca Buccellati
Released October 14th via Young Poet Alex Amor has delivered her sophomore EP, The Art Of Letting Go. Fresh off the road after supporting acts such as Swim Deep, Thomas Headon, and The Snuts, Alex Amor has teamed up with producers Karma Kid (Poppy Ajudha, Shygirl), Mack Jamieson (Mahalia, Sad Night Dynamite), and Gianluca Buccellati (Arlo Parks) on her new EP The Art Of Letting Go.
On this latest effort, Alex Amor has created a dreamlike state that examines the intricacies of love, friendship, and relationships. Introspective yet whimsical, the five tracks blend subtle melodies with direct and uncompromising songwriting.
Representing a shift in focus, Amor explains the theme of the EP:
“Letting go of the past, people who hold us back, and the things that no longer serve us in life. It’s about getting out of your own way, choosing what’s best for ourselves, and surrendering to the moment, taking each day as it comes. My intention for this project is to help people feel uplifted, more at ease, and inspire them to find their own ways of letting go.”
The Art Of Letting Go is available today via Young Poet.
