Post Malone suffered a nasty fall on stage in St. Louis. He got up and apologized to fans and later learned he cracked three of his ribs.
A video of the incident posted to social media shows the singer walking around the stage to greet fans. As he’s leaning back up and walking toward the stage, a misstep causes him to take a nasty fall at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis. According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, the singer missed a hole on stage in which his instrument disappeared moments prior. Medics appeared on stage in a flash to help the singer after he didn’t get up immediately.
“St. Louis, I’m so f*cking sorry I ruined the show tonight, ladies and gentlemen,” Post Malone told fans when he finally addressed them. “I promise next time I come around, I won’t f*cking wreck y’alls night, I’m sorry for that. That being said, I want to thank you for your patience and I’m sorry.”
“There was a big-ass hole in the middle of the stage that I busted my ass on,” he continues. “I want to say thank you to everybody for hanging in there and thank you to everybody for–I got the best f*cking fans in the world.” Post Malone stayed on stage to perform a shortened set. Once the show was over, Post Malone took to social media the next day to talk about the incident with the world.
“Thank you for the patience,” he begins. “Thank you for putting up with my dumb ass. Everything’s good, they gave me some pain meds and everything. We can keep kicking ass on the tour. I just want to apologize to everyone in St. Louis and want to say thank you for coming to the show. Next time I’m around this way we’re going to do a two-hour show for you, so we can make up for the couple of missed songs.”
