Liquor stores across the U.S. and Canada have begun protesting Russia’s invasion of Ukraine by refusing to sell Russian-made vodka.
On Friday afternoon, Canada’s Newfoundland Labrador Liquor Corporation (NLC) announced that they were removing all their Russian liquor in protest of the war.
📢 The Newfoundland and Labrador Liquor Corporation, along with other Liquor jurisdictions throughout Canada, has made the decision to remove products of Russian origin from its shelves. These include Russian Standard Vodka and Russian Standard Platinum Vodka.

The liquor control board of Ontario followed suit and also banned Russian-made products from their stores.
We are now hearing of several bars popping up across the US that have decided to switch out their Russian vodka products for Ukrainian products.
