The new Netflix series “Never Have I Ever” has taken over the internet by storm. Right when the days were going by slowly, The show rolled out to save our souls. The somewhat comedy-drama is focused on the life of Devi Vishwakumar, who struggles to find a balance between her love and family life. While her mother has a strict no-dating rule, Vishwakumar still manages to sneak in a boyfriend or two.

The whole plot revolves around the life of teen Devi Vishwakumar who struggles to find her lover. Devi Vishwakumar is played by Maitreyi Ramakrishnan. Maitreyi originally belongs to Tamil just like her on-screen character. She resides in Mississauga, Ontario, and landed the role after beating 15,000 resumes. At just 20 years of age, she is all set to go to Toronto’s York University. She changed her major from theatre to human rights in the year 2021.
2. Nalini Vishwakumar

This brings us to Devi’s mother in Never Have I Ever, Nalini Vishwakumar. Nalini is a tough mother played by Poorna Jagannathan. Poorna is an established artist. Her most notable work is in season two of Big Little Lies and HBO’s The Night Of, where she appeared as Safar Khan. She is 49 years old and married to the love of her life, Azad Oommen. She has one child, much like her on-screen role. Poorna loves her role as Nalini.
3. Mohan Vishwakumar

Mohan Vishwakumar is played by Sendhil Ramamurthy. Sendhil is an American actor who was born in Born in Chicago, Illinois. He is 48 years old and married to Olga Sosnovska. He is the same actor who played Mohinder Suresh, A geneticist in the sci-fi drama Heroes. Mohan has two lovely kids, Halina and Alex Ramamurthy.
4. Kamala

We all loved the electric character of Kamala in Never Have I Ever. Played by Richa Moorjani, Kamala is Devi’s cousin who is also struggling with a love life of her own. Apart from being an actor, Richa is a fabulous dancer. She loves to show her moves on social media. Richa is 33 years old and recently married her beau Bharat Rishi Moorjani in 2019.
5. Paxton Hall-Yoshida

Next in line is Paxton Hall-Yoshida, the official crush of 2022. This popular schoolboy role is played by Darren Barnet. Although he is 31 years old, he still meets the criteria of a high schooler perfectly. Darren has also been a part of other famous shows like American pie:2020, This Is Us, and lovehard. The 24-year-old Ramona Young is seen playing the role of Eleanor, Devi’s best friend. Ramona is a well-seasoned actress who brings life to all her roles. Much like her on-screen character, Ramona has a unique but adorable style. She is a Chinese American Actor, best known for her roles in Santa Clarita Diet, The Real O’Neals, and Man Seeking Woman.
7. Fabiola

Fabiola is also Devi’s best friend. Throughout the show, Fabiola is seen struggling to find a way to come out. When she finally manages to come out to her friends and family, her love life starts to spiral down. Fabiola is a wonderful character played by Lee Rodriguez. Never Have I Ever is the first major project for Lee.

8. Ben Gross

Devi’s old-time rival turned lover turned friend, Ben Gross is played by Jaren Lewison. Jaren has been an actor since childhood, having worked on shows like Barney & Friends, and Barney: A Very Merry Christmas. He is best known for his role in Never Have I Ever. Jaren is 21 years old. He is from Dallas, Texas, United States.
Fun Fact: Darren recorded the series along with being a full-time student at the University of Southern California. He graduated with a degree in psychology. What’s more amazing is that he is a double minor in forensics and criminology. Maybe Jaren is like Ben after all!
With the show being a super hit, Sources revealed that the cast is looking for a pay upgrade. Darren Barnet, Ramona Young, Richa Moorjani, Jaren Lewison, and Lee Rodriguez were all paid a whopping $65,000 per episode. Negotiations have been going on with Maitreyi Ramakrishnan and Poorna Jagannathan.
