Crosby revealed her approach to fitness to Express. She says that she takes her time when it comes to exercise. “My advice would be don’t be scared, don’t be overwhelmed by it all. It’s all about taking everything at your own pace. You don’t need to go and do an hour workout with a load of people who are pushing you really hard. That’s not what fitness is all about. Fitness is about moving more and going at your own pace and your own fitness level and building on that. It’s not about being amazing straight away, so just go at your own pace, take it really really slow and gradually try and get better.”
One of Crosby’s workout secrets is having other people to exercise with. She tells Express that this helps her stay motivated. “It doesn’t make it a chore, it just takes away that part of what you dread about exercising.”
Another thing that keeps Crosby interested in fitness is doing different things. “Every day I do something different,” she tells Express. “Variation is key because sticking to the same thing over and over again gets boring and you get sick [of it].”
Crosby tells Express that she is very consistent. She says that she tries to do some type of physical activity each day. “I move every single day of the week, so there’s not a day when I’ll just lie on the settee all day and watch TV. Every single day I’ll be moving, so days when I haven’t done an intense workout as such I’ll always do a 45 to an hour walk and that’s still just as good exercise as anything else.”
When it comes to her diet, Crosby says that she believes in balance. She tells OK! Magazine, “Be realistic with your diet, rather than just avoiding sugar all together. Which, lets face it is far too hard and we all end up caving in the end. Why not just find something that is just as yummy but kinder on the hips?”
