BRITNEY Spears has opened up about feeling like a “huge part of her has died” after contact with her teenage sons was broken.
The singer took to Instagram in the early hours of the morning for a bizarre rant in a series of posts, where she discussed her relationship with Jayden, 15, and Preston, 16.
Earlier this month, Britney, 40, hit back after her ex husband Kevin Federline said their sons no longer wanted to see their mother.
The bombshell claims led the superstar to use an anguished social media post to accuse her boys of being “hateful”.
After the teens offered her an olive branch in a tell-all interview, Britney responded in the post that she felt like her “heart stopped beating”when her sons “cut her off”.
“I used to have my kids at one point, way more than Kevin, but people don’t remember that part because they always focus on the negative,” she began the audio clip.
“From when they were six to nine years old I had them 70 per cent of the time and of course since they’ve been gone, I’ve felt like a huge part of me has died.
“Like literally, I have no purpose any more – they were my joy, they were my everything. That was what I lived for.
“Then all of a sudden, they were gone, and it’s like my heart just stopped beating.”
“I don’t understand how it’s so easy for them to cut me off like that, I just don’t understand it,” she concluded the post.

It comes after Britney’s sons broke their silence on their toxic family split – before offering their mum an olive branch.
In an emotional plea to Britney, Jayden said: “I love you a lot and I hope for the best for you. Maybe one day we can sit down and talk.”
In a Sun on Sunday interview last month, former professional dancer Kevin, 44, revealed their boys had stopped seeing Britney after becoming increasingly uncomfortable during their visits.
In an Instagram post, since deleted, she accused the teenagers of “abandoning her” and being “hateful” as she begged them to love her again.
Kevin consulted with his family before posting videos allegedly showing Britney “screaming” at her sons when they were younger.
He then deleted them, explaining that he had to defend his kids after years of staying silent – but Jayden and Preston then opened up.
Jayden revealed: “The type of environment she gave us was not very comfortable for me and my brother.
“Once you’re ten or 11, that’s when you come to the realisation of things. There’s no hate . . . I really want to see her again. It will make me happy, and it will make Preston happy.”
Britney invited her sons to her celebrity-packed wedding in June to model and personal trainer Sam Asghari, 28, but they did not attend.
Jayden explains: “It just wasn’t a good time to go. I’m not saying that I’m not happy for her.
“I’m really happy for them but she didn’t invite the whole family and if it was just going to be me and Preston, I don’t see how that situation would have ended on good terms.”
