Madison Bailey has left the Outer Banks in her bikini. In a new social media post, the star vacations in Puerto Rico, heating up the islands in her bathing suit. “In no rush,” she captioned the series of Instagram snaps. Madison sets intentions, telling Interview that she makes New Year’s Resolutions. “I have intentions for the year of improving my health physically and mentally,” she said. One of her go-to workouts is weight lifting. Who does she train with? Her “pogue” costar Jonathan Davis. “I miss my workout buddies,” she captioned this snap. Madison is a hiker. “Missing my LA hikes,” she captioned a photo of one of her exercise sessions. “Do one thing a day that makes you proud of yourself. 3.5 miles and 500 stairs will suffice for today,” she captioned another Instagram post. “Hiking is one of the best ways to get exercise. No matter what type of trail you find yourself on, hiking is a great whole-body workout—from head to toe and everything in between,” says the National Parks Service. Some physical benefits include building stronger muscles and bones, improving your sense of balance, improving your heart health, and decreasing the risk of respiratory issues. According to a Stanford University study, it also offers many mental health benefits.
Madison’s favorite drink at craft services is a ginseng shot, “which, don’t ask me what it is. I have no idea what it is, but while everyone else is shotgunning Red Bulls, I’m with my little ginseng shot. It tastes like sh**, but if I can take a tequila shot, I can drink a little ginseng!” she told Cosmopolitan.
Madison, who identifies as pansexual, is open about her sexuality. “I came out at 18, and gained my following at 21,” she told Elle. “It wasn’t exactly a coming out, more like it was a detail when nobody knew anything about me.” She is in a relationship with former college basketball player and fellow social media star Mariah Linney, which she revealed through a TikTok video.
Bailey is open about her mental health, which includes her borderline personality disorder diagnosis. “I felt less ‘crazy’ post-diagnosis,” she told Elle, using finger quotation marks around the c-word. “It’s comforting to know that my brain is just different, and it was easier to figure out where to go from there.”
