Frankie Bridge In Bikini Is "Chasing The Sun" — Celebwell

Summertime means going to the beach, and Frankie Bridge understands that. The Saturdays singer and reality star decided to take a vacation with her husband and kids this week. Frankie made sure to give us all vacation and body envy by sharing highlights on Instagram. In a post, she posed on the beach in a white bikini and a blue and white striped wrap. Frankie captioned it, “Chasing the sun.” How does Frankie Bridge keep herself in shape? Read on to learn 5 of her secrets, which range from walking to strength training.

Frankie has a busy life, and she doesn’t want to pressure herself to workout. “Since having kids, my fitness routine has changed massively,” she tells Women’s Fitness. “I’m more in the mindset of doing something I actually enjoy, rather than forcing myself. I’m not one of those people that will make myself go to the gym, particularly if there is something a lot more appealing on offer, like a friend wanting to go out for a drink.”

One of Frankie’s go-to exercises? Plain old walking. “I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I absolutely love walking,” she says to Women’s Fitness. “I know that sounds a bit naff and many people would be sceptical, but to me, it is all about moving your body. And because I have two dogs, I have to walk them. Being outside around nature, even walking in the rain, makes me feel good. My philosophy is: do something that gets your heartbeat up and doesn’t make you dread doing it.”

Frankie is open about her struggles with her mental health. She tells Women’s Fitness that exercise has helped with her mindset, and she that she uses the Health & Happiness program. “Of course I still have bad days, but there are so many good ones, too, and that is what I enjoy about my Health & Happiness programme – it ticks so many boxes, making you feel good about yourself inside and out, whatever your age. Doing some sort of exercise, moving my body, helps keep my anxiety at bay. The RWL trainers are all amazing and target all age groups, so it’s suitable for everyone.”

In addition to exercising regularly, Frankie makes sure to eat a healthy diet. She shared some of her staple foods in an inteview with Cosmopolitan. “I’ve got an obsession with granola and yoghurt with raspberries and blueberries so I’ll have that in the morning with a cup of tea. For lunch, I’ll have salad with tuna, and then for dinner I’ll have brown rice and quinoa and some sort of fish or meat, and some kale. I’m obsessed with kale.”

Another way Frankie keeps herself in shape is weight training. She talked about the benefits she’s seen from it with Cosmopolitan. “I’ve started weight training. A lot of people I knew did it and I’ve heard a lot about it burning fat and being good for toning, so I’ve started doing that with a new trainer. I really like it. My bum and my legs just weren’t changing before I started weight training, but now I have noticed a difference [from squatting with free weights] quite quickly.”
