Behemoth have announced an expanded reissue of their 1998 album Pandemonic Incantations, out September 12th via Metal Blade Records.
The “definitive reissue” of the Polish black metal pioneers’ third proper full-length album tacks on seven bonus tracks, including the Bewitching the Pomerania EP and alternate/rough mixes.
Available on vinyl and CD, the release also houses a 20-page booklet featuring archival photos, liner notes, and new interviews reflecting on the record’s legacy. The reissue is adorned by reimagined cover art by Eliran Kantor.

“Pandemonic Incantations marked a significant leap forward in our evolution,” stated band mastermind Nergal in a press release. “It was a milestone made possible by overhauling the lineup and bringing Inferno into the band — it was a game changer. We recorded the best album we could at that point. To this day, I often hear from fans who say it’s their favourite Behemoth record. Even the sonic imperfections don’t overshadow the mature arrangements and solid song writing. I’m still very proud of it.”
The reissue marks another milestone in 2025 for Behemoth, as the band is coming off the May release of its latest album The Shit Ov God — one of our picks for the best heavy albums of the year so far.
