Ironmouse hits out at VTuber orgs immediately trying to sign her after VShojo drama

VTubing star Ironmouse has urged organizations to stop contacting her about joining them in the wake of her exit from VShojo.

On July 21, VTuber Ironmouse shocked the internet after she revealed that she would be leaving VShojo. Ironmouse said that the VTuber organization hadn’t paid the Immune Deficiency Foundation $500K from her viral charity subathon.

The Twitch star’s exit prompted a wave of other VTubers to leave too, with the now-former CEO Justin Ignacio confirming that VShojo had closed its doors. “VShojo has failed, and I’ve mismanaged the company into the situation you’re all witnessing,” he posted.

Ironmouse said that she’d been “bed-rotten” and an “emotional mess” over everything that had gone on, but had returned to streaming anyway.

Ironmouse bites back at orgs trying to sign her already

One thing she doesn’t want to return to, at least in the immediate future, is a VTubing org like VShojo.

“So many emails and DMs about people either asking me to join their VTuber corpo, or their content creator corpo, or their content creator agency, or people asking me to help me in creating my own corpo. Yeah, can you, like, not? How about don’t do that? How about don’t do that? How about no? How about do not?!” Ironmouse told viewers on July 27.

“Don’t f*ck with me, bro! You think I’m f*cking around?! I ain’t joking, b**ch! I need a tiny bit of a break,” she added. “I need some time to be indie.”

While some viewers could understand why organizations would try and make moves already, they also echoed her message about backing off for the time being.

“Reaching out to attempt and get her to sign this soon is in incredibly bad taste honestly,” one said. “Corpos can’t help themselves. They see someone like Ironmouse is free to sign with someone new and go feral,” another said.

Others questioned if there is a VTuber org out there large enough to sustain someone of Ironmouse’s popularity too.
