Marriott Bonvoy and Starbucks are hosting a private concert for over 100 superfans, featuring a one-night-only experience with Alex Warren.

For all the talk of superfan strategy, it looks like big brands are just as interested.

This fall, Marriott Bonvoy and Starbucks are cranking up their loyalty partnership by staging a small-crowd concert with breakout artist Alex Warren, best known for his hit, “Ordinary.” Starting July 29th, fans with linked Starbucks and Marriott Bonvoy accounts can bid their earned points through the Marriott Bonvoy Moments platform for a chance to attend the Alex Warren experience.

So much points-racking work, though, for the motivated Warren fan, maybe it’s small potatoes.

Fast-forward to September 27th, and the rising star will take the stage at the Starbucks Reserve Roastery in New York City to perform several songs from his upcoming debut album, You’ll Be Alright Kid. Before the performance, Alex will join attendees for a cocktail reception where he will test his barista skills by debuting a ‘limited-edition Starbucks Reserve beverage’.

Not exactly the most edgy play, but hey: Warren’s smartly tapping into the bottomless budgets of both Starbucks and Marriott. And for those that really, really want to see Warren up close, the points race begins now.

After joining their respective loyalty programs, members can earn up to 100 Marriott Bonvoy points by making three qualifying transactions at participating Starbucks locations, helping them take one step closer to an evening with Alex Warren.

The ‘Marriott Bonvoy and Starbucks Present: One Night with Alex Warren Moments’ packages start with ‘1-Point Drops.’ Marriott Bonvoy will release 100 1-Point Drop packages, allowing 100 members to secure access for themselves and a guest to attend the Alex Warren experience.

Those who miss out on the 1-Point Drop packages can bid with Marriott Bonvoy points for ten auction packages, offering a chance to attend the exclusive event with a guest.

Miss those chances, and a sweepstakes is also in the offing. Each of the four grand prize packages will include access to the show for the winner and a guest, a two-night hotel stay in New York City, round-trip airfare and transportation for two, a $1,000 cash prize, and an exclusive meet-and-greet with Alex Warren.

Yes, this is work, folks — but nobody said being a superfan was easy.

Just focus non-stop on Starbucks coffee and Marriott hotel points between now and September, and maybe you’ll make it to… the Starbucks Reserve Roastery in New York.
