On what would have been his 37th birthday, the Young Dolph “Hall of Fame” has arrived, with the late Memphis artist discussing all the things he accomplished to elevate himself to legendary status. It’s billed in a press release as Dolph’s “first posthumous single.”
From rapping about being willing to pay any amount of money for a Jay-Z verse to explaining he only works so hard to help his mother and family, the Bandplay-produced “Hall of Fame” illustrates what made Dolph the heart and spirit of the Memphis hip-hop scene.
Dolph’s fiancée Mia Jaye also shared a heartfelt open letter on his birthday discussing how much she and their children miss him.
“I love you, even after the end of time, and I thank you for allowing me to experience a genuine soul tie for as long as we did. Happy heavenly birthday my love, Mia,” the letter concludes.
