A 7-Eleven convenience store in Japan is selling the country’s “longest roll of toilet paper,” which is 7.11 times bigger than the previous one.

As one of the most iconic convenience stores across the world, 7-Eleven continues to launch new items for fans to enjoy.

While it’s quite popular in the US, the company is massive in Japan with over 20,000 locations across the country, making it the biggest convenience store there.

On Thursday, June 19, Sora News reported that 7-Eleven has come up with Japan’s “longest roll of toilet paper” that has a rather unique Easter egg.

New TP roll is 7.11x bigger than last

The toilet paper was made by Marutomi Seishi, a paper product supplier that just so happened to make the previous longest roll that came in at 300m in length.

Seishi’s newest roll, which was dubbed “Japan’s longest” roll of TP for home use, comes in at a length of 1,168 feet, which is about 7.11 times bigger than a normal roll that comes in at around 164 feet long.

He also said that they developed the product because one in three married couples were “dissatisfied with their toilet paper” because it gets used up too fast.

If you’re looking for a massive roll of toilet paper in the US, however, you’ll have to head over to Charmin and pick up a set of their Forever Rolls. At 12 inches in diameter, the rolls are so big that they require their own special holder.

Toilet paper has been the source of many arguments between couples over the years, with one TikToker back in 2023 revealing she dumped her boyfriend because he wouldn’t bring her a new roll.
