Pavel Durov, the founder and CEO of messaging app Telegram, revealed that he doesn’t want his children to be fighting over his wealth. So, he’s splitting the $14 billion+ inheritance among all of them. However, he has more than 100 kids.

Durov has six children born from three wives, but he was also a sperm donor and has at least 100 children that were conceived in that manner. He doesn’t view these children any different than the ones he had with his partners, and he plans to treat everyone equally when it comes to splitting his estate.

Though they won’t see that inheritance any time soon, it will come eventually. Though 106+ children is a big family, $14 billion is such a massive number that everyone will be walking away with a ludicrous amount of money.

Durov detailed his plan to distribute the wealth through his massive family tree in an interview with Le Point:

“I decided that my children would not have access to my fortune until a period of thirty years has elapsed, starting from today. I want them to live like normal people, to build themselves up alone, to learn to trust themselves, to be able to create, not to be dependent on a bank account,” the tech CEO explained.

“I want to specify that I make no difference between my children: there are those who were conceived naturally and those who come from my sperm donations. They are all my children and will all have the same rights! I don’t want them to tear each other apart after my death.”

He also claims that he wants to “open-source” his DNA so that children can be born from his genes no matter the era.

“Now I plan to open-source my DNA so that my biological children can find each other more easily. Of course, there are risks, but I don’t regret having been a donor. The shortage of healthy sperm has become an increasingly serious issue worldwide, and I’m proud that I did my part to help alleviate it.”

So, while it’ll be a bit until his children get to reap the rewards, there are a select few out there who may have a check for millions coming their way in the future.

The billionaire is, however, under investigation for allegedly failing to moderate his app, with France’s government claiming that he’s willingly allowing crimes to be planned via messaging there.
