Chess streamer turned DJ Andrea Botez was absolutely stunned after her jersey from a MrBeast video ended up on eBay.
In 2024, MrBeast unleashed one of his craziest videos to date featuring many of the internet’s biggest creators in one epic $1M competition.
A whopping 50 creators including Kai Cenat, Logan Paul, Pokimane, IShowSpeed and Valkyrae took part in the event, which has since been viewed over 370M times on YouTube.
Each competitor was also given a special blue uniform with their name on it, and just over one year since the video, Andrea Botez found hers for sale.
Andrea Botez’s MrBeast jersey ends up on eBay
On June 18, the chess star posted a screenshot of an eBay listing for the jersey she wore in the MrBeast video.
“Lesson learned: don’t give your used Mr Beast uniform to Goodwill,” she captioned the image.
The jersey is being sold by a user named ‘aceofsales85’ and is seeking $3,000 or best offer. The seller’s other items include numerous football jerseys, hoodies, hats, a wrench, Game of Thrones action figures, and boxing gloves.
MrBeast even responded to the listing, simply writing “lol” to which Botez fired back joking, “Could you help me purchase it back?”
Other fans were just outright confused by the fact the uniform ended up at a Goodwill to begin with.
“Why would you give it to Goodwill, if it has your name on it? Use some common sense?” one said.
“Bruh what? Sell it for charity or something, things there 100% are gonna be flipped,” another wrote.
While many wondered why she didn’t just auction the uniform off and give the money to charity, at least one fellow chess star has made an offer of sorts.
“I was going to keep my purchase anonymous but if you really want it back…how about $1m + a pair of used socks and we call it a deal?” rhetorically asked Nemo ‘akanemsko’ Zhou.
We’ll have to see what ends up happening with the eBay listing and if anyone ends up putting up the $3K requested for the piece of YouTube history.
