London newcomers LEAP have shared details of their debut album ‘Entropy’, unleashing raucous single ‘Sinking Feeling’.
The new record lands October 03, and is available to preorder now.
Speaking on latest single ‘Sinking Feeling’, vocalist Jack Scott has shared:
“Sinking Feeling is the most excited we’ve ever been about a track, so it had to be the one to announce our debut album with… It’s probably the closest we’ve ever come to a song that feels like it captures the energy of the live shows, which is always the aim. It’s an upbeat, dancey mosh-pit tune with honest, depresso lyrics, which is what LEAP is all about, basically. We’re all kinda broken in our own ways, and there’s nothing wrong with that. It’s a celebration and a temporary pause on that sinking feeling that we all get sometimes, that unexplained sense of dread. “

Speaking on the release of their debut album, the band has shared:
“It feels so wild to be announcing the album. It’s only been two years since we started touring and getting out to places all over Europe and meeting people. It’s gone so fast and we’re loving every second of it, Honestly, so grateful that we’re able to keep it going. We’re a tiny team, it’s just us four, plus mates basically, so everyone has put in outrageous levels of hustle. But to be releasing a debut album together, it’s so exciting and we just wanna get this music out to as many people as possible. The amount of fans that have become part of this family and connected with the music on a proper emotional level, it’s the best feeling ever. It’s the most rewarding thing about all of this, seeing people get a break from their heads and just let go for an hour. That’s exactly what it is for us as well. So to be able to share that with new people and bigger crowds, we’re so gassed for it.”
To celebrate the record’s release, LEAP will be heading out a huge headline tour beginning in October.
