Miley Cyrus In Skimpy Bikini Told To Eat ‘A Few Cheeseburgers’

Miley Cyrus first rose to prominence as a teen idol in the Disney Channel series “Hannah Montana” and is still expressing herself through her music.

After ditching her Hannah Montana persona with her “Bangerz” era in 2013, she has now gone on to experiment with her style, both in the world of fashion and music. However, not everyone agrees with what she posts, as she has been criticized for being “too skinny” while flaunting her toned tummy in a bikini.

Back in February 2023, Miley was enjoying the success of “Flowers” and took a moment to celebrate with a photo that featured her showing off her tanned figure in a strapless red bikini. She wore her blonde hair loose as she stared down the camera with her chin up and one hand buried in her wavy hair.

In the caption, she thanked her fans for supporting her, writing, “Flowers is #1 @ Pop Radio for the first time & #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 again for the 5th Week in a row! THANK YOU & I LOVE YOU!” She capped off the caption with a red heart emoji.

Although some fans loved the two-piece bathing suit, others felt that she was starting to get too skinny. “She is a beautiful lady, but would be more so if she ate a few cheeseburgers,” one fan commented. Another user followed it up with, “She looks strong and sculpted… huge difference.”

One user said that her look is “sickening,” but it was impossible to tell if the comment was positive or negative. Other fans just praised the music itself and ignored her look, with one follower in London writing, “Thank you for giving strong women another anthem, as good as ‘I will survive’!” along with a red heart emoji.

The Internet’s perception of her has definitely made Miley more conscious of what she chooses to share online.

“That was in 2013 and people were putting my head on, you know, different, very unattractive things,” she continued. “And I still see that when I put on a bathing suit to this day.”

Elsewhere in the interview, she revealed that her outfit made her stand out among her friends when they went on a girls trip.

“I wear very ― you would never think ― very modest bathing suits,” Miley said, as transcribed by Huffpost. “And we actually just went on a trip. It was a whole girls trip and everyone else had on a string bikini except me. I was in, like, shorts, you know. I wore ― I don’t even know if people wear tankinis anymore ― I was wearing a tank top like an old lady.”

When Monica joked that she was “bringing them back,” Miley agreed, adding, “And my sister goes, ‘You know you’re you ― so this is cool ― like, I guess this is in now, you’re making this cool. But like you know this is what like a grandma wears to the beach.’”

“And it just hit me like, ‘Oh, I’m still so insecure about those memes about my body,’” the singer explained.
