Nelly and Ashanti launch the trailer for their reality show, “We Belong Together,” premiering on Peacock on June 26.

After rekindling their relationship two years ago and the birth of their son last year, Nelly and Ashanti are giving fans a peek into their lives with a new reality show. The eight episode series premieres on Peacock on June 26 and follows the celebrity couple in their romantic journey and new family life.

The couple dated on and off for over a decade before splitting up in 2013. But they reconnected in 2022, and this time, they were ready to take the plunge. Nelly and Ashanti were married in December 2023, and welcomed their first child into the world less than a year later.

“The unscripted series follows the electrifying journey of the beloved couple as they reignite their love, navigate the ups and downs of newlywed life, and the challenges of parenthood while juggling their thriving careers,” reads Peacock’s description of the show. “Can this unstoppable duo prove that their love truly can conquer all? Nelly and Ashanti: We Belong Together is an exploration of love’s second chances.”

The trailer reveals that the couple will go through issues such as differing parenting styles, deciding where to live, and the 10 years apart before the two got back together.

Nelly and Ashanti, who are also producers on the project, are expecting their second child. This will also be a topic of the series, with Ashanti saying she is eager to further grow their family. “Looking at my baby’s face, it’s just like, ‘Oh, one or two more!’” the R&B singer told E! News at the 2025 iHeartRadio Awards.

The couple welcomed their son, Kareem Kenkaide Hayes, in July 2024, after getting married in secret less than a year earlier. Ashanti explained that Nelly was responsible for their son’s name. “His dad named him with a lot of pride,” she said. “And I thought it was just so amazing and so thoughtful and so sweet because Kenkaide is my dad’s name, and obviously my dad has only girls. So Nelly was just like, ‘I think that will be really, really dope.’”
