Twenty One Pilots Release ‘The Contract’, First New Track From ‘Breach’ Album

Twenty One Pilots have dropped their latest single, ‘The Contract’ – the first release from their forthcoming album, ‘Breach’ – and announced a North American headline tour.

The band’s new record arrives in September via Fueled By Ramen, and was first teased via cryptic messages on the band’s social media.

When announcing the album, they added “hello Clancy, hello Blurryface, let’s finish this” – alluding to the final moments of ‘Paladin Strait’, the closing track from last year’s ‘Clancy’ album.

The beginning of that new chapter has now arrived via ‘The Contract’, which you can listen to via the band’s official video below.

As well as a forthcoming album on the horizon, Twenty One Pilots have also shared brand-new tour dates, just six months on from wrapping-up their mammoth Clancy World Tour.

The newly announced tour will kick off in Cincinnati on 18 September and conclude at the BMO Stadium in Los Angeles on 25 October.

Fans can sign up to the pre-sale for tickets via the band’s site, with pre-sale beginning Tuesday, 17 June (10am local time), before general sale on Friday, 20 June (10am local time).

Adding to the long-lived appreciation for their 2015 LP, Blurryface track ‘Doubt’ recently went viral online, with Twenty One Pilots adding the track to the Clancy World Tour setlist before releasing a demo version earlier this year in response to the fan demand.
