Revered bassist Oteil Burbridge has shared the dates and locations of his six-stop headlining tour. Oteil & Friends’ impending run will occur on the East Coast and is stacked ahead of the group’s highly anticipated return to Suwannee Roots Revival in Live Oak, Fla., on October 9 through 12, the final date in a stretch of in-person appearances, which begins on October 1, at the Waterville Opera House in Waterville, Maine.
On the road, Burbridge will be joined by musical constants, Melvin Seals, Steve Kimock, Jason Crosby, Johnny Kimock, Tom Guarna, and Lamar Williams, Jr., as they evoke musical incantations in line with the Jerry Garcia Band’s spirit and ethos, spreading joy and evoking human connection through song. After night one in The Pine Street State, the group will move to the Cabot Theatre in Beverly, Mass., for a follow-up on Oct. 2.
Oteil & Friends will return to Port Chester, N.Y.’s Capitol Theatre on Oct. 3, before their ensuing performance on the XL Live stage in Harrisburg, Pa. The group will move down the coast, arriving at the Neighborhood Theatre in Charlotteville, N.C., on Oct. 7, ahead of their concert at The Refinery in Charleston, S.C., on Oct. 9.
Burbridge’s tour will come after he participates in Dead & Company’s celebration of the Grateful Dead’s 60th anniversary at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, August 1-3.
