Iron & Wine and I’m With Her, the trio of Sarah Jarosz, Aoife O’Donovan, and Sara Watkins, have joined forces for the new song, “Robin’s Egg.” The song arrives ahead of their stretch of co-headlining US tour dates taking place in July 2025.
Their new collaborative song “Robin’s Egg” is an upbeat, whimsical slice of indie folk; Iron & Wine takes the first verse, I’m With Her the second, and they both join forces in harmony in the final chorus. “You got blue and loosey-goosey/ I went robin’s egg” they repeat in the refrain over a driving drumbeat and warm acoustic strumming. Watch the song’s colorful animated music video directed by Lizi Breit below.
Of the new track and tour, Iron & Wine shared, “I had the start of ‘Robin’s Egg’ kicking around and began finishing the tune earlier this year with I’m With Her in mind. We had already started to plan our summer tour together; I passed it to them with the hope they were up for adding their voices to it and lucky for me they were! I’m looking forward to performing it, and a few other surprises, with them this summer.”
