Jennifer Lopez reveals nasty looking face cut after accident on stage ahead of AMA performance

JENNIFER Lopez revealed her painful looking cut on her face after an accident during rehearsals for the American Music Awards.

The On The Floor hitmaker, 55, said she received facial stitches for the gash on her nose.

The songstress detailed the ordeal with snaps on her Instagram story.

In the first photo, Jennifer shared a selfie from her car with an ice pack over the bridge of her nose and wrote: “So this happened…”.

Her nose looked noticeably redder and swollen following the injury that happened last week.

Jennifer then posted a picture as she went makeup free and revealed the visible cut on her nose.

She clarified: “Happened during AMAs rehearsals.”

Luckily Jennifer’s celebrity plastic surgeon Dr. Jason Diamond was on hand to help stitch her up.

She reassured fans that she was on the mend in her latest post with a smiling photo of her alongside the medical professional.

The pop star looked stunning in a green halterneck top with her hair styled in a messy updo.

Jennifer accessorized with her hoop earrings and opted for a bronzed makeup look.

The star showed fans the progress of her injury with just some mild discoloration on her nose.

She wrote: “Thank you for stitching me up Dr. Diamond. A week later and a whole lotta ice, I’m good as new.”

Last month, it was announced that Jennifer would be returning to host the AMAs, having previously hosted in 2015.

Jennifer is also expected to perform during the show.

Jennifer first graced the AMAs stage back in 2001 and has gone onto perform 10 times at the prestigious awards.

The AMAs which will be broadcast on CBS and streaming on Paramount+ on Memorial Day, May 26th, from Las Vegas.
