Creed will have their own car racing in the 109th running of the Indianapolis 500 on May 25th.
The band has teamed up with Meyer Shank Racing for the No. 60 Honda via the team’s ongoing SiriusXM partnership. The IndyCar will be piloted by Swedish driver Felix Rosenqvist and will feature a striking livery bearing the Creed logo against a black-and-papaya gradient.
The members of Creed will be attending the “Greatest Spectacle in Racing” for the first time, with the band sharing via a press release: “We are excited to attend our first Indy 500 this Memorial Day weekend. Seeing this incredible car in person will be a highlight for us. Can’t wait to be there with all the fans to cheer on Felix and the entire Meyer Shank Racing Team.”
“It’s awesome to have Creed join us for the biggest race of the year,” added Mike Shank, co-owner of Meyer Shank Racing. “SiriusXM has been such a great partner in helping us bring new energy and personality into the sport through music, and to bring a band like Creed to the Indy 500 is something that we’re really looking forward to.”

The Creed car winning the Indy 500 is not out of the realm of possibility. Rosenqvist, a former IndyCar rookie of the year, currently sits in 8th place in the NTT IndyCar Series standings, with two Top 5 finishes in 2025. For his career, he has one race win and six total podiums.
Meanwhile, we’ve now seen a couple heavy music/motorsport crossover collabs in recent years. Back in 2022, Ghost sponsored a NASCAR Xfinity Series car driven by Bayley Currey for JD Motorsports.
As for Creed, the post-grunge luminaries continue to enjoy an overwhelmingly positive reception since reuniting. In April, they announced an expansion of their Summer 2025 North American tour after selling over 1 million tickets. The band will again be on the road from July through late August, with tickets available here.
