Streamer SoLLUMINATI has revealed that he had to pass a test to have a Twitch ban lifted after he was suspended for five years.
Whenever someone receives a ban from Twitch, fans quickly start trying to figure out the reason. Some are more obvious than others, which can create controversy, especially as the Amazon-owned platform has been reluctant to publicize ban reasons.
That, however, is starting to change. Twitch has begun to be a little more transparent about things. On top of that, they’ve started to lift the ‘indefinite’ suspension that has been dealt to streamers.
Adin Ross, who had been banned since 2023, had his ban lifted after talks with Twitch. Now, SoLLUMINATI, who had been banned for five years, has given a bit of insight into how things work with getting suspensions lifted after you’ve had an indefinite ban.
SoLLUMINATI had to pass test to be unbanned on Twitch
As noted, the streamer, who has two million subscribers on his YouTube channel, had been banned for five years. Yet, his ban reason was never publicized.
SoLLUMINATI did, however, note that he had to complete a test regarding hateful conduct to be able to return to Twitch following hist most recent banning.
“I’m really just trying to go crazy. They made me take a test, I had to take a test. There was 20 questions on there, it was like a hateful something test,” he said. “They said if I passed the test then they’d unban my account. I passed that shit, I got every one right. It is simple and everything they had on there, I didn’t do. I didn’t send no hate to nobody.”
SoLLUMINATI did add that he just wants to “have some fun” on Twitch with his content. However, he also noted that he doesn’t feel all that safe on the platform. As noted, was banned and unbanned again after a day on May 5, with claims being that ban was for hateful speech.
The streamer has had an offer from Adin Ross to join KICK. Yet, he is continuing on Twitch for now.
