Streaming star IShowSpeed has finally responded to DDG’s offer of $2 million for a “quick” cameo in his music video for his song SPEED.
Over the last few years, IShowSpeed has cemented himself as a bonafide superstar in the streaming world. He has traveled across the globe, meeting tens of thousands of fans, appeared at award shows, and even been given ambassadorial roles for countries.
As a result, Speed’s time is worth a fair bit of money. His recent tour to China highlighted this as some viewers suggested that he was being paid for it. Speed’s manager, though, denied those claims and actually stated that he was losing money on the tour but that it was all about the experience for him.
Musician and streamer DDG recognized the fact that Speed could make a fair bit of cash for his time and offered him $2 million for “40 minutes” of work by getting involved in the music video for his song SPEED.
Speed doesn’t want $2m for DDG video
“How much you going to charge me, Speed? I know YouTube ain’t got subs, I know they got members. I come in roughly around like $2 million,” DDG said.
Well, after a short while, Speed has now responded to the offer and he doesn’t need a massive lump sum of cash to be involved.
“Bro, yo bro, I’d do it for free! I f**k with DDG, you don’t have to pay me nothing, DDG,” he responded. “Bro, he got my number bro. Well, I think I got his number.”
Speed getting involved for free was actually something that fans suggested he’d do anyway. “Speed will probably do it for free,” one said initially. “Speed is humble, just ask him. Maybe he will collab for free,” another added.
The YouTube star hasn’t got any international trips lined up for the immediate future. In fact, he is planning tour of the United States. So, maybe he can hit up DDG at some point soon.
