Twitch streamer Asmongold fell through his own ceiling while looking for the carcass of a stinky animal that died in his attic.
Asmongold is infamous for his gag-inducing living conditions. He’s been open about the state of his house over the years, admitting that he even used the stench from a rotting rat’s corpse as an alarm clock in the mornings.
In the past, Asmon has shown off the mountains of trash and filth that accumulated in his streaming room, which was filled with fast food containers that completely covered his desk.
While he promised to clean his home in late 2024 and made decent progress, it seems he still has a long way to go, judging by two photos he shared on May 5.

The photos show a hole in Asmongold’s ceiling above a hallway, showing off framing and insulation inside the structure.
The second picture shows the floor of the carpeted hallway, which was littered with debris and various detritus from the attic.
According to Asmongold, he’d been investigating the source of a nasty smell in his attic when the floor gave way beneath him, sending his foot through the ceiling.
“Took the day off to find some dead animal in my attic that smelled bad and ended up falling through the ceiling!” he explained. “Pretty sure I’m living in Sen’s Fortress.”
The post instantly sparked a wave of disgusted reactions online, with one asking him: “Why don’t you just buy a new house?”
“Bro, aren’t you a millionaire or something?” another asked.
“You know you can just hire someone to do that, right?” another commenter posed.
The streamer was convinced an animal had met its end in his attic — and this wouldn’t be the first time he’s thought as much.
In June 2024, the streamer made a similar statement, admitting that he was completely gobsmacked by the smell of his house after returning from a stay in a hotel.
“I feel like there’s at least one dead animal in my house right now,” he said. “I’m like 70% sure. And it’s been there for a while. There’s mold and sh*t everywhere too.”
Asmon has gone viral several times over the course of his career due to the state of his house — who could forget the moment a cockroach climbed onto him during a game of Overwatch?
The streamer’s home is so messy that it was even referenced by the creators of Power Wash Simulator, who joked that even they were no match for his atrocious abode.
