Ty Segall’s new album “Hello, Hi” is due out later this month, and, following the release, the songwriter is heading out on tour. The solo acoustic tour will kick off at August Hall in Segall’s native San Francisco, coming through Portland and Seattle before crossing the country for a series of East Coast dates. Find the dates below.
“Hello, Hi” is out July 22 via Segall’s longtime label Drag City. The release follows his surprise album Harmonizer and soundtrack for Whirlybird, a 2020 documentary from Matt Yoka. The film follows Zoey Tour and Marika Gerrard, who captured helicopter footage of O.J. Simpson’s famous 1992 chase across Los Angeles, among other iconic moments in areal videography.
