Paul McCartney talks marriage and his favorite thing to do in bed

Come together!

Paul McCartney opened up about his private life, with The Beatles star, 82, giving fans a rare insight into his nearly 14-year union with wife Nancy Shevell, 65.

The “Here Comes the Sun” musician revealed details of their private life, including what they do in bed, when asked by a fan how they spend their downtime.

“I’m curious, when it’s just you and Nancy at home together with a break from all your responsibilities and commitments, what do you do together to relax?” the fan asked McCartney via a “You Gave Me the Answer” blog post on his website. “What are your shared interests?”

Answering candidly, the international superstar shared that their marriage includes enjoying meals and chatting together, as well as giving each other space to wind down after a long day.

“We chat and catch up with each other. We eat lunch or dinner. Well, any meal really, as we love cooking,” McCartney explained.

However, there’s one thing the Grammy winner must do before he hits the hay each night.

“Sometimes we will watch something on TV together, and I always read before bed, usually a biography, while Nancy finishes watching a series,” he spilled.

“We’re pretty much like any other normal couple!” McCartney added.

This isn’t the first time that the musician addressed his marriage.

In 2023, the “Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds” rocker shared that he was a hopeless romantic.

“There’s not just one card, there are cards hidden around the room, and sometimes things even spill into the next day — it’s completely silly,” McCartney said about Valentine’s Day at home.

Feb. 14 isn’t the only time he goes all out either.

The Beatle also told fans that he goes wild on Christmas.

“If there’s an excuse to have some fun, I overdo it! At Christmas, I go crazy with the tree lights and fairy lights — totally overdo it,” McCartney wrote on his personal blog.

When it comes to being Shevell’s life partner, the “Abbey Road” music man said he wants to “be helpful as a husband.”

“If there’s a problem, I like to be the guy that will lend some strength to it,” he told fans.

“I’m always very happy to be the person Nancy relies on, and to be her strength when she goes through tough times.”

The pair met in 2007 and tied the knot in 2011. Shevell is his third wife.

McCartney married Linda Eastman in 1969. They were together until she passed away in 1998. His second wife was Heather Mills. They lasted from 2002 to 2008.
