Korn's Jonathan Davis to Appear on Discovery Channel's Ghost Adventures

Korn frontman Jonathan Davis will appear on a new episode of Discovery Channel’s Ghost Adventures. A two-minute clip can be streamed now.

The episode is set to air next Wednesday (April 30th) at 10 p.m. ET and sees Davis teaming up with the show’s paranormal investigators Zak Bagans, Aaron Goodwin, Billy Tolley, and Jay Wasley as they explore Glen Tavern Inn, a “haunted” hotel in Santa Paula, California, that was previously visited by the hosts in 2013.

The teaser clip offers a pretty hearty preview involving a haunted chair in the corner of one of the hotel rooms. When Davis sits in the chair, he claims to feel something supernatural.

“I got 100 pounds on my shoulders right now,” he says, before standing up. “Yeah, bro, I can’t take this anymore.”

Davis claims to have witnessed “visions of women being tortured by very bad men” and that he felt “kinda high” while sitting in the chair. “It’s very euphoric,” Davis says after Bagans also sits in the chair and senses a supernatural presence. “It’s a trip.”

The official description of the episode reads:

“Zak Bagans and the crew return to the Glen Tavern Inn in Santa Paula, California, to help its staff find closure after the tragic loss of a beloved local medium, Patrick Smith. After Bagans experiences a premonitory dream during their investigation, he invites Davis and paranormal investigator Gary Galka to assist the team on their lockdown, as they dig deeper into the dark mysteries of the former gambling house.”

The episode was filmed a year ago in April 2024. At the time, Davis took to Facebook to share a photo with Bagans after the hotel exploration, writing in the post: “I can’t explain the things I experienced. Thank you it’s a night I will never forget.”

Davis is a fitting guest, as the singer has a known affinity for horror and the macabre, possessing a large collection of serial killer art and memorabilia. Also, before achieving fame with Korn, he worked as an assistant coroner.

Fans can also catch David fronting Korn when the nu-metal pionneers play the Sonic Temple, Welcome to Rockville, and Lollapalooza festivals this year. The band will also play two August stadium shows with System of a Down in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Tickets to their upcoming gigs are available here.

In addition to the Ghost Adventures appearance and Korn’s concert dates, Davis recently introduced a new line of his “Freak on a Leash” dog apparel and accessories.
