The nominations for the 2025 AMAs (American Music Awards) were unveiled last night (April 23), with the likes of Linkin Park, Twenty One Pilots, and Green Day nominated in the rock categories.
With the ceremony airing live from Las Vegas on May 26, the fan-voted awards show includes three rock categories: Favorite Rock Artist, Favorite Rock Album, and Favorite Rock Song.
With Linkin Park up for both the Artist and Song awards (with comeback single ‘The Emptiness Machine’), Twenty One Pilots are also in the running for two awards – Favorite Rock Artist and Favorite Rock Album with ‘Clancy’.
Elsewhere among the nominees, Green Day have received a nod for 2024 track ‘Dilemma’, whilst rock legends Pearl Jam are amongst the names up for the Artist award.
The American Music Awards winners are voted entirely by fans, with nominees selected based on key fan interactions such as streaming, album and song sales, radio airplay and tour grosses.
Fan voting is now open via VoteAMAs.com and the @AMAs Instagram profile, and will close on May 15.
