Wavves Announces New Album SPUN and 2025 Tour

Wavves are back with their first album of new material in four years. SPUN is out June 6th via Ghost Ramp, the band’s label, plus they’re hitting the road this summer to tour North America. As a preview, they’ve shared the album’s latest single, “Goner,” which was produced by Travis Barker. Listen below.

SPUN is Wavves’ eighth record, following 2021’s Hideaway, and will also feature the February single “So Long,” though no other details about the tracklist have been released yet. The new album brings frontman Nathan Williams back together with bandmates Stephen Pope, Ross Traver, and Alex Gates.

The music video for “Goner” was filmed at Wavves’ LA wildfire benefit show back in early March. “I had this song I had been sitting on, always revisited it and tried to record it a bunch of times but it was never just right,” Williams said in a press statement. “I was talking to Travis about doing some songs together and when I opened up the vault to him, this one jumped out so we laid it down and finally we got it right.”
