How to earn Assassin’s Creed Shadows Twitch Drops

Assassin’s Creed Shadows players looking to unlock a few more cosmetic items can do so through free Twitch Drops.

Players won’t get to step into the shoes of protagonists Naoe and Yasuke until Assassin’s Creed Shadows arrives on Thursday, March 20. However, Ubisoft has partnered with Twitch to allow fans to earn a trio of exclusive cosmetic items early.

All three items offer up new gear for Naoe, with one being a weapon that the shinobi will most definitely put to good use.

Here is what players should know about how to earn and claim the Twitch rewards.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows Twitch Drops and dates

From Tuesday, March 18 through Tuesday, March 25, AC Shadows fans can watch Twitch streams to access three different in-game rewards.

Players will first need to link their Ubisoft accounts to their Twitch profile, then watch participating channels that have drops enabled. (This information is available in the “Drops Enabled” tag on Twitch.)

The rewards will require a certain amount of stream hours watched before the corresponding item unlocks.

Here is the complete breakdown of what viewers will earn during the campaign:

• Watch 1 hour to receive Naoe’s Spirit Headband
• Watch 2 hours to receive Naoe’s Spirit Kosode
• Watch 4 hours to receive Naoe’s Oath Tanto

How to claim Twitch Drops

Earning and claiming the rewards should prove fairly straightforward since you only need to do the following:

• Link your Twitch and Ubisoft accounts through this portal.
• Watch participating Twitch streams for 1, 2, and 4 hours for the relevant reward.
• Select “Claim Now” once each reward appears in your Twitch Inventory.
• The in-game items will be delivered to your Ubisoft account within 48 hours of the Twitch campaign’s end date.

It’s also worth noting that each of these Twitch Drops will only remain available to claim up until 24 hours after the campaign concludes on Tuesday, March 25.
