A new and extensive teaser for Alien: Earth, the upcoming TV show set in the iconic Alien universe, has been released. While not exactly a teaser trailer, the footage is the longest piece of preview content that’s been released in connection to the series thus far.
Set two years before the events of Alien, Alien: Earth serves as a prequel to the original Ridley Scott-directed film and will star Sydney Chandler, Timothy Olyphant, Alex Lawther, Samuel Blenkin, Essie Davis, Adarsh Gourav, Kit Young, David Rysdahl, Babou Ceesay, Jonathan Ajayi, Erana James, Lily Newmark, Diêm Camille, and Adrian Edmondson.
Alien: Earth hails from acclaimed TV writer Noah Hawley, who is known for his work on FX’s beloved Fargo series, in addition to the Marvel series Legion, which was also broadcast by FX.
Similar to the previous teaser that we’ve seen, this new look at the project seems to focus on a spaceship, this time introducing us to the crew. Obviously, given the title and prior marketing material we’ve seen, this spaceship is likely the one to bring the iconic Xenomorph to Earth. This teaser sees a camera attached to a cat that looks an awful lot like the cat Jonesy from the original 1979 film (while the cat is never named, the similarities are too stark to be unintentional).

Earlier this year, the first teaser trailer for the project, clocking in at about 40 seconds long, was filmed from a POV perspective and featured an astronaut being attacked by a facehugger as its ship approached Earth.
Then, at the start of March, a brief TV spot released the first-look images from the series, including Timothy Olyphant as Kirsh, a Weyland-Yutani synthetic.
