Jennifer Garner reportedly does not have an interest in rekindling her romance with ex-husband Ben Affleck despite the fact that he’s into the idea of a reunion. Affleck and Garner, who got divorced in 2018, have been spotted looking quite happy together in recent months following Affleck’s divorce from Jennifer Lopez.
Earlier this week, video of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner getting handsy with each other during a recent paintball outing went viral, sparking speculation about the nature of their current relationship.
According to an alleged inside source who spoke to the New York Post’s Page Six, Affleck “would love another chance” and :would definitely be open to giving things another shot with Jen if the timing is ever right.”
While reports indicate that Affleck is interested in rekindling their romance — the pair first got married in 2005 and were hitched for 13 years — Jennifer Garner reportedly does not feel the same way.
“The feeling is not mutual on Jen’s side. She’s happy with John [Miller] and that’s just not where her head is at. She has a great co-parenting relationship with Ben, and that’s where things stand on her end at the moment,” a source told the New York Post.
Affleck got divorced from Jennifer Lopez in August 2024 after just about two years of marriage. The couple previously dated in the early 2000s, sparking the paparazzi/tabloid nickname Bennifer, before reuniting in the 2020s. As for Lopez, she’s now reportedly got Kevin Costner as a suitor after the two spent time together in Aspen over the holiday season.
Later this Spring, Affleck will be seen starring in The Accountant 2 alongside Jon Bernthal, Cynthia Addai-Robinson, J. K. Simmons, Daniella Pineda and Allison Robertson. Directed by Gavin O’Connor, who helmed the original film in 2016, The Accountant 2 will be released on Prime Video on April 25, 2025.
