The South Korean band returns to Manila after nearly a year. Here’s how their concert went.

MANILA, Philippines – South Korean indie band wave to earth returned to the Philippines after nearly a year on Friday, February 28, for their “play with earth! 0.03” world tour at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

Known for their soft rock sound, the band performed classic fan-favorite hits such as “seasons,” “bad,” and “peach eyes,” among many others.

As this tour was held in support of their play with earth! 0.03 record, wave to earth also played numerous tracks off the album for the first time for their Filipino fans. Filipino “planktons” got to hear “slow dive,” “annie.,” and “holyland” live.

Composed of Daniel Kim (vocals and guitar), Shin Dong-gyu (drummer), and Cha Soon-jong (bass), wave to earth last visited the Philippines in March 2024 for their “the first era” tour at the New Frontier Theater. – Rappler.com
