Rebūke and Linska reimagine Trainspotting with futuristic techno anthem ‘Choose Life’

Electronic music producer Rebūke teams up with rising star Linska for ‘Choose Life,’ a high-energy, conceptual track inspired by Trainspotting.
Drawing on Irvine Welsh’s iconic monologue from Trainspotting, ‘Choose Life’ brings the existential themes of the 1996 film into the modern age. With pulsating techno beats, deep basslines, and Linska’s spoken-word delivery, the track updates the original’s anti-consumerist critique of a world shaped by streaming subscriptions, AI automation, and digital overload.
Linska adds:
“We were inspired by the iconic opening monologue from Trainspotting, which has grown even more relevant today. By reinterpreting it for today’s world, we created a track with an existential message and an empowering truth.”
Out now the single serves as a preview of Rebūke’s highly anticipated debut studio album, The World of Era, set to drop this spring via his ERA label.
