Kate Hudson is back with a new comedy. “Running Point” is a new series developed by Mindy Kaling, following Hudson as the overnight head of one of the biggest basketball teams in the nation.
House of David (Prime)
“House of David” is a historical drama telling the story of David, the ancient king of Israel and Judah.
Demon City (Netflix)
If you’re in the mood for some fast-paced and thrilling action, “Demon City” is now streaming on Netflix, following a man who was framed for his family’s murder as he battles demons that have taken over the city.
Brooklyn (Hulu)
“Brooklyn” is now streaming on Hulu. The film, starring an Oscar-nominated performance from Saoirse Ronan, follows a young Irish woman who immigrates to the US for a better life, leaving her life behind and being torn about what she wants for her future.
Beginners (Netflix)
“Beginners” is streaming on Netflix, starring Ewan McGregor, Christopher Plummer, and Melanie Laurent. The film follows a man who’s reflecting on his father’s life at the same time as he meets a woman and falls in love with her.
Blade Runner: The Final Cut (Netflix)
Lastly, if you’re in the mood for a classic, “Blade Runner: The Final Cut” will be available on Netflix tomorrow. The film had a long and torrid history, having seven versions that exist due to studio requirements. “The Final Cut” is director Ridley Scott’s version, and remains one of the most important science fiction films ever made.
