Streaming star Amouranth says she isn’t willing to fight a male boxer, but is interested in acquiring the services of a ‘proxy’ to fight in her stead.
Kaitlyn ‘Amouranth‘ Siragusa is a famous internet personality and streamer, boasting a combined 6.5 million across both Kick and Twitch.
Thanks to her near-constant broadcasting grind and other income streams, Amouranth has become known as one of the richest influencers on the net — and she’s got money to spend on some rather unique endeavors.
In a February 28 tweet, Amouranth pitched the idea of being involved in a boxing match… only, she won’t be fighting in it.
Amouranth is willing to spend some cheddar to hire a boxer to fight in her place.
Amouranth says she’ll hire “proxy” fighter to box for her
Instead, Amouranth claimed she’d rather hire a boxer to fight for her by ‘proxy,’ hearkening back to Game of Thrones‘ trials by combat.
“I won’t fight a biological male, but I’m sure I could find a proxy who I will cover all expenses and training for who will,” she wrote. “Guys, any takers?”
Siragusa’s tweet sparked quite the conversation on social media, even earning backlash from one netizen who asked, “How the f**k you are a millionaire and you are wasting your platform in sh*t like this?”
“Because being a millionaire is more about leveraging and allocating capital (human and financial), and less about allocating every iota of time,” the streamer responded.
This isn’t the first time Amouranth has considered stepping into the boxing realm. In fact, she was slated to make her boxing debut at Ibai Llanos’ La Velada del Año 3 in July 2023, but was forced to pull out of the match due to medical issues.
Since then, she hasn’t been involved in any influencer boxing matches, but notably helped host Creator Clash 2 with pre-fight interviews with participating boxers.
