Tori Amos is adding to her repertoire with the release of her debut children’s book, Tori and the Muses, which is set to arrive on March 4th (pre-order here). Now, she’s unveiled a surprise companion album, titled The Music of Tori and the Muses. Stream it in full below.
The Penguin Workshop/Penguin Young Readers release is centered on a young Tori who is visited by Muses who inspire her to write and create. With a floating pink piano, tiny Tori is emboldened to embark on a music-making adventure of her own. Illustrations for the book were created by New York-based artist Demelsa Haughton.
The companion album Amos joined by longtime collaborators Mark Hawley, Jon Evans, Matt Chamberlain, Ash Soan, and John Philip Shenale.
In the coming days, Amos will be heading out on a book tour in support of Tori and the Muses. Limited tickets remain — explore the remaining availability to join Amos as she shares the book with audiences in-person here.
