Måneskin’s Damiano David has given us another taste of his solo career with heart-achingly beautiful single ‘Next Summer’.
Following the launch of the project with singles ‘Silverlines’ and ‘Born With A Broken Heart’ last year, the Italian rockstar’s first music of 2025 is stunningly tender and heartfelt.
Talking about ‘Next Summer’ in a recent Instagram post, Damiano shared:
“When we lack the strength to face change, the mind can become a prison.
We find ourselves stuck, standing still.
In a cage made of fears, judgments, and insecurities.
The fear of not being enough,
of not succeeding,
of not meeting others’ expectations,
keeps us imprisoned.
Facing our own vulnerability is an act of courage.
Starting to accept who we are is the first breath of fresh air.”

To officially welcome his solo career, Damiano will be heading out on a huge world tour later this year.
The vocalist’s first global run away from his Måneskin bandmates, he’ll be stopping off at London’s Roundhouse for two shows in September.
