Nathan Fielder’s grand social experiment/comedy television show is about to go to the next level, as HBO has announced that The Rehearsal Season 2 will arrive on Sunday, April 20th.
In the official logline, HBO describes the second season as “one man’s journey to reduce the uncertainties of everyday life. With a construction crew, a legion of actors, and seemingly unlimited resources, Fielder helps ordinary people prepare for life’s biggest moments by ‘rehearsing’ them in carefully crafted simulations of his own design… In Season 2, the urgency of Fielder’s project grows as he decides to put his resources toward an issue that affects us all.”
The teaser doesn’t reveal much. No words are spoken as Fielder watches over a series of, presumably, rehearsals. Still, it definitely sets the tone for another mysterious, wild ride.
Season 2 of The Rehearsal will consist of six episodes. In addition to airing on HBO, episodes will also be available to stream via Max (sign up here) on Sundays at 10:30 p.m. ET. Check out the season’s first teaser clip below.
